The purpose of FIRST Scandinavia is to stimulate childrens’ and young peoples’ interest for technology, design and natural science in general, through programmes driven by the children themselves.

FIRST Scandinavia is an ideal organisation established on 18th September 2000. During these first years the largest programme has been FIRST LEGO League. Now the organisation is also working very actively on the projects Newton and LearnIT.
 

The organisation has at present 5 full-time staff members and 2 co-workers who are temporarily engaged.
